About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Are Media's dynamic Content team as a specialised Videographer focused on vodcasting production. You'll be responsible for shooting engaging video content that brings Are Media's brands to life across digital platforms. This role offers the chance to work with Australia's leading omnichannel brands, collaborating with editorial teams to produce high-quality vodcasts that reach millions of engaged audiences. You'll be at the forefront of Are Media's digital transformation, helping to expand traditional publishing into innovative video storytelling formats.

Duties

  • Collaborate with editorial teams to develop vodcast concepts and filming schedules
  • Operate professional camera equipment, lighting, and audio systems
  • Edit videos using industry-standard software and incorporate branded elements
  • Set up and maintain vodcasting studios for optimal production quality
  • Format videos for multiple platforms including YouTube and social media
  • Support live vodcast productions and handle technical troubleshooting
  • Organize and archive video content in comprehensive digital libraries
  • Ensure all content aligns with Are Media's brand guidelines
  • Maintain and care for video production equipment and studio facilities

Skills and experience

  • 3+ years professional videography experience, preferably in media/publishing environment
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
  • Strong technical knowledge of cameras, lighting, and audio equipment
  • Experience with vodcast/podcast video production
  • Understanding of digital content formats and platform requirements
  • Portfolio demonstrating high-quality video content creation
