At Are Media, you'll be in the office four days a week, with one day to work from home.
About the role
WHO Australia is seeking a curious, trend-savvy Content Producer to create engaging lifestyle content for our weekly magazine and across our omnichannel platforms.
In this role, you’ll research, write and publish high-quality lifestyle stories that help grow circulation, page views, audience engagement and commercial revenue, while maintaining WHO’s distinctive tone and editorial standards. You’ll produce content across fashion, beauty, health and fitness, food, travel, homes, technology, finance and more, adapting easily to different formats and platforms.
You’ll create digital-first, shoppable content aligned with WHO’s omnichannel strategy, pitch strong story ideas 6–8 weeks ahead of publication, and contribute regularly to team brainstorming sessions. Working closely with the Senior Content Producer and Editor, you’ll help manage a forward-planning ideas list, keeping across key calendar moments, anniversaries and relevant news hooks.
The role also involves sourcing imagery and visual assets for stories and brand extensions, ensuring all content meets WHO’s quality, accuracy and brand standards.
This is a fast-paced role for someone who understands what resonates with Australian audiences and knows how to turn timely ideas into polished, high-performing lifestyle content.
Duties
- Allocate time between digital and print appropriately to ensure omnichannel and content commerce strategy is front of mind.
- Pitch strong story ideas 6–8 weeks ahead of publication.
- Research, write and publish high-quality lifestyle stories for print and online.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders such as art, subs, pictures.
- Create visually engaging layouts featuring products that align with the WHO brand and audience.
- Manage relationships with publicists and media companies to ensure access to products, launches and new releases.
