The Role
Know how to turn search data into content that ranks, earns clicks and converts? This is your opportunity to lead SEO optimisation across Are Media’s growing deals content! This is a 12-month maximum term opportunity.
As SEO Copywriter, you’ll use keyword research, search intent and performance insights to create and optimise deals content for organic growth. From improving existing pages to identifying emerging opportunities, you’ll help increase our deals content visibility across traditional search and AI-driven discovery.
Working within Are Media’s Audience team, you’ll combine advanced SEO capability with strong editorial judgement and commercial thinking to improve the entire journey from search result to merchant.
What you’ll be doing
- Drive SEO performance through keyword research, search-intent mapping, competitor analysis, metadata, internal linking and structured content optimisation.
- Improve existing content by analysing rankings, click-through rates, conversions and revenue attribution, then implementing changes that deliver measurable growth.
- Create search-led content targeting valuable commercial terms while incorporating original research, experience-led insights and unique expert quotes.
- Optimise the click-to-merchant journey by aligning content structure, calls to action and retailer links with user needs and conversion opportunities.
About you
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- A proven track record of increasing organic rankings, traffic and conversions through hands-on SEO and content optimisation.
- In-depth knowledge of keyword research, search intent, on-page SEO, internal linking, EEAT principles, AI Overviews and evolving search best practice.
- Confidence using SEO analytics tools to uncover opportunities, diagnose performance and turn insights into practical content improvements.
- Experience within shopping, e-commerce or deals content, combined with a growth mindset and the flexibility to adapt in a rapidly changing search environment.
