About the role
The End User Support Analyst is responsible for delivery of key Technology services by providing assistance & support to our employees both in-office and remotely.This position is an integral part of the whole Technology team and works closely with Infrastructure, Operational Systems and Business Application team members.
- This role will be reporting to IT Operations and Security Manager
- Are Media End Users and IT Vendors would be key stake holders
- This role contribute to the success of the company by driving end user satisfaction and providing high quality support
Duties
- Technical support to end users.
- Administrating, testing, and troubleshooting system issues.
- Troubleshoots and resolve complex technical issues such as file and registry-related application problems on Windows and Mac OS
- Apply fixes, troubleshoot, and diagnose advanced System, OS issues, application issues.
- Well versed with Windows and Mac OS features and troubleshooting
- Group Policy Management for all end clients and servers.
- To develop, test and maintain software packages for distribution to user desktops, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
- Remote management and troubleshooting, Asset management and inventory.
- Desktop support for Windows and Mac platform including installation and troubleshooting of various applications.
- Maintains effective local documentation including standard operating procedures, best practices, and methodologies for application packaging and operating system deployment.
- Build and maintain images containing operating system and core applications for distribution to user desktops, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
- Contributes to the development of the End User Computing infrastructure, particularly relating to applications and image deployment, assisting with the development of best practices, policies, procedures, and associated documentation.
- A proven ability to design and maintain a patching infrastructure, patching concepts, best practices.
- Update Software packages and scripts for smooth deployment and installation on Laptops and Desktop.
- Uses scripting languages such as VBScript, PowerShell, or batch scripting to automate tasks within a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Manages End Point Central with respect to monthly patching and software deployment.
- Liaise with various third party suppliers/vendors as and when required.
Skills and experience
- 3+ years of experience of working as End User Support Analyst
- Well verse with ITIL Concepts
- Experience of ITSM tool Jira Service Management
- Experience with Windows and MAC operating systems
- Experience with troubleshooting complex end user issues related to Outlook, Printing, Hardware, applications related issues.
- Good working knowledge of network technologies
- Well verse in Active Directory on creating accounts, joining computers to the domain, creating printer's queues, creating Exchange mailboxes,
- distribution lists, security groups, and external contacts.
- A proven ability to design and maintain a patching infrastructure, patching concepts, best practices.
- Well verse with software deployment tools like SCCM/End Point Central
- Well verse with End point detection and response tools like CrowdStrike.
- Familiar with identifying and resolving basic network issues pertaining to computer connectivity on the network.
- Thorough understanding of multi-tiered SLA management, Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management
