About the role
This is more than a standard accounts payable role. The Publisher Reconciliation Officer works with all parts of the business to ensure full and accurate payment to our publishers.
- A member of a small payables team and a wider finance group.
- Works with Client Services, warehouse team and the wider Are Direct business.
- Ensures accurate and timely payments, which contributes to a healthy relationship with our publishers.
Duties
- Monthly cycle of payments
- Liaison with Client Services to resolve variances and publisher queries
- Analyse and resolve anomalies in publisher accounts
- Provide support to the NZ publisher payables team
Skills and experience
- Experience in accounts payable or other accounting function using ERP
- Systems include JD Edwards accounting software, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience with large volumes of data or transactions
- Attention to detail
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Time management and meeting deadlines
- Accounting qualification or experience desirable
