About the role
We're looking for a dynamic Retail Marketing Executive to elevate our brand’s presence and drive growth across Supermarkets and Newsagents. In this role, you'll be at the heart of shaping and executing impactful marketing strategies that boost brand awareness, engage customers, and fuel revenue growth.
Reporting to the Head of Channel Strategy & Optimisation, you’ll use your keen understanding of market insights and consumer trends to identify and act on exciting opportunities to increase circulation revenue and drive Market Hub sales. Building strong partnerships with Are Direct, retailers, and our internal teams, you'll play a critical role in ensuring every strategy aligns with our goals and delivers impressive results.

Duties
- Design and execute targeted marketing strategies for Supermarkets and Newsagent channels, including promotional programs, merchandising initiatives and in-store displays, to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, traffic and revenue for Are Media brands and The Market Hub.
- Work closely with Are Direct, Connections, merchandising team and retail partners to create cohesive marketing campaigns that align with broader business objectives.
- Coordinate efforts to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all retail touchpoints.
- Monitor market trends, consumer behaviour, and campaign performance to identify opportunities for optimisation and growth.
- Utilise insights to refine marketing strategies and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure campaigns deliver profitable results.
Skills and experience
- Strong knowledge of marketing strategies and best practices specific to retail environments, particularly in Supermarkets and Newsagents.
- Ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies that align with business objectives and drive customer engagement.
- Proven experience in managing multiple marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely execution and adherence to budgets.
- Proficiency in analysing market trends, consumer behaviour, and campaign performance metrics to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration with internal teams and external retail partners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate marketing plans, share insights, and engage with various stakeholders.
