About the role
Reporting to the Director of Sales, The Head of Affiliate Sales is responsible for leading the Affiliate Sales Team, driving the overarching business content commerce revenue strategy. This role will maximise revenues across all relevant affiliate channels, brands and platforms while building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to drive affiliate revenue.
Duties
The duties for this role include:
- Leading the team to achieve the quarterly and yearly affiliate revenue targets.
- Develop effective affiliate acquisition strategies across all channels.
- Manage relationships with external partners and providers
- Prepare for and optimise revenue for key affiliate revenue events providing analysis and insights post event. i.e Black Friday Sales, Boxing Day Sales etc
- Review rates and commissions as well as report on affiliate revenue for monthly/ quarterly/ annual results.
- Educate, grow and develop the affiliate sales knowledge across the wider Are Media business.
- Alongside key stakeholders, build commercial packages and products for the sales team to take to market.
Skills and experience
- Strong knowledge of the affiliate market
- Prior management experience of a small sales team
- At least 5 years’ experience in this or a similar role
- Established relationships within the affiliate network
- Experience working across multiple levels of stakeholders to drive cross functional results
- “Outside the box” thinker and problem solver
- Agree on and act to reach deliverables being results orientated
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships
