About the role

Reporting to the editor of the Listener, the content producer is a vital, multi-layered role. You will also work closely with the digital editor and the subbing team to both produce content and assist in the production of the magazine's TV listings pages

Duties 

• Assisting in the compilation and editing of the TV & radio listings
• Creation and production of content for the print edition and listener.co.nz 
• Commissioning and management of freelance payments and admin support across the Are Media NZ business as required

Skills and experience

• A journalism/communications degree is essential, as is a familiarity and interest in the work of the Listener
• Subbing experience is also desirable as is digital publishing experience (CMS management)
• Proficient skills in Office 365 and overall be organised and good with schedules
