About the role

Working closely with the editor-in-chief of House & Garden, Belle and Country Style the editorial coordinator role will be responsible for administrative duties including social media posts, responding to correspondence on project submissions, reader inquiries, and requests from advertising clients, PR and digital agencies, architects and interior designers and replying to invitations.

It will involve liaising with the sales team on deliverables on the Monday board, downloading imagery, assisting with flagship events like the Belle Interior Design Awards and the House & Garden Top 50 Room Awards and working with the editor-in-chief on budgets and commissioning. Other duties include keeping digital and hard copy files up to date and in order and organising regular production meetings and follow-up action points. The role will also help the editorial team organise photo shoots and coordinate deliveries and returns and be a support for the team across multiple and ever changing initiatives.

Duties

  • Coordinate all administrative duties for the editor-in chief of House & Garden and Belle, including responding to correspondence on project submissions, reader inquiries, and requests from advertising clients, PR and digital agencies, architects and interior designers and replying to invitations. 
  • Assisting with flagship events like the Belle Interior Design Awards and the House & Garden Top 50 Room Awards
  • Other duties include keeping digital and hard copy files up to date and in order and organising regular production meetings and follow-up action points. 
  • Collaborate on developing digital and social content for brands. Develop social media content plans and manage the scheduling and performance reporting of the content. 

Skills and experience

  • Proactive, focused with a positive attitude
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Content or social media coordination experience
  • Highly organised with excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Able to build effective internal and external relationships
