About the role
The Senior Content Producer (Video) will create compelling video content across our premium homes & lifestyle brands, Home Beautiful and The Australian Woman's Weekly. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape video strategy and production for Australia's leading women's media company, working with iconic titles while driving innovation in digital storytelling. You'll be at the forefront of content creation, combining creative vision with strategic thinking to engage millions of audience members across multiple platforms.
Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive video content strategies aligned with brand objectives and audience insights
- Lead end-to-end video production including concept development, scripting, filming, editing, and post-production
- Create and optimise video content for various platforms including social media, websites, YouTube, and emerging digital channels
- Mentor junior producers and coordinate with freelance videographers, editors, and creative teams
- Work closely with editorial teams across Are Media's portfolio to ensure brand consistency and content quality
- Monitor video performance metrics, analyse audience engagement, and implement data-driven improvements
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and external partners to deliver integrated content solutions
- Maintain high production standards while managing budgets, timelines, and technical requirements
Skills and experience
- Experience in lifestyle, homes, fashion, or women's media
- Knowledge of SEO, analytics tools, and content performance measurement
- Motion graphics and animation capabilities
- Understanding of influencer marketing and branded content
- Photography skills and experience with live streaming/broadcast
- Creative storyteller with strong visual aesthetic
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Adaptable and thrives in fast-paced environments
- Collaborative team player with stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented with commitment to quality and deadlines
