About the role
Join Are Media’s dynamic People, Culture & Workplace team as a Talent Acquisition Partner, where you’ll play a key role in enabling the Are Media ambition by sourcing our talent and building future capability.
This is a true end-to-end talent partnering role, owning recruitment across ANZ and working closely with senior leaders to attract exceptional creative, editorial and commercial talent.
You’ll sit at the heart of the business, partnering with hiring managers, while building diverse talent pipelines and delivering a best-in-class candidate experience. This is a highly autonomous, standalone TA role, perfect for someone who thrives on ownership, influence and impact.
Beyond recruitment, you’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to broader People & Culture initiatives, supporting Are Media’s evolving culture and ways of working alongside an incredible People & Culture team.
Duties
- Lead full recruitment lifecycles from job briefing through to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers across editorial, commercial, marketing and corporate functions to understand business priorities and talent needs.
- Deliver proactive sourcing strategies across social platforms, recruitment tools, industry networks and direct outreach to attract high-calibre candidates.
- Champion a positive, inclusive candidate journey through structured interviews, clear communication and timely feedback.
- Act as a brand ambassador, representing Are Media at industry events, job fairs and networking opportunities to strengthen talent attraction.
- Maintain accurate ATS records and provide regular reporting on hiring metrics, pipeline health and market intelligence.
- Continuously evolve recruitment processes, tools and ways of working to improve efficiency, quality of hire and stakeholder experience.
- Embed inclusive hiring practices and build diverse talent pipelines aligned to Are Media’s DEI commitments.
Skills and experience
- 5+ years’ experience in Talent Acquisition, ideally within a creative and fast-paced commercial environments
- Proven success recruiting across multiple disciplines including editorial, commercial, digital and marketing
- Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and contemporary recruitment best practices
- Confidence using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment technology platforms to drive efficient hiring outcomes
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work autonomously in a stand-alone TA role
- Passion for delivering exceptional candidate experiences and contributing to inclusive hiring practices
