About the role
Join Are Media's Advertising Sales Team as our Agency Lead for IMAA! This is more than just a sales role, it's your opportunity to lead and grow a high-value agency portfolio, build strong connections across Sydney's dynamic media and agency network while representing some of Australia's most iconic brands in media.
You'll own and grow key relationships and build strategic partnerships that unlock new commercial opportunities, and connect agencies with premium, trusted brands that deliver real results for clients and Are Media.
Duties
- Manage and grow relationships with IMAA member agencies across Sydney market
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth
- Present advertising solutions and campaign proposals to agency decision makers
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated marketing campaigns across print, digital and vodcast
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities
- Maintain accurate sales forecasting and reporting through CRM systems
- Attend industry events and networking functions to strengthen agency partnerships
- Negotiate contracts and pricing structures with agency partners
Skills and experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in media sales or advertising agency environment
- Experience working with IMAA agencies or similar industry bodies preferred
- Experience leading, coaching and developing a team
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing client relationships
- Strong understanding of digital and traditional advertising channels, and leveraging first party data
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools
- Strong negotiation and commercial acumen
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team
