At Are Media, you'll be in the office four days a week, with one day to work from home.

About the Role:

As Direct Sales Manager, you’ll support Are Media’s NSW Direct Sales Team by contributing to category strategy, managing pipeline activity and helping Category Partners achieve revenue goals. You’ll promote integrated media solutions, support new business opportunities and play an important role in driving strong, consistent results. We’re looking for an experienced salesperson who leads from the front - actively pitching, presenting and driving new business opportunities in market.

Duties

  • Support revenue growth and retention across key partners and new business
  • Contribute to clear short-, mid- and long-term category plans
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast using AdPoint
  • Coach and guide Category Partners to support performance outcomes
  • Help address strategic or delivery challenges as they arise
  • Identify potential revenue opportunities and share leads with CPs
  • Coordinate regular performance updates, team meetings and training opportunities
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth campaign delivery

Skills and experience

  • Media sales experience, ideally with exposure to team support or mentoring
  • Strong commercial awareness and planning ability
  • Effective stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Understanding of print, digital and programmatic media
  • Experience within publishing or cross-platform environments
  • Proven success in new business development in a direct sales setting
