At Are Media, you'll be in the office four days a week, with one day to work from home.
About the role
The production department is an industrious team, servicing many different stakeholders within the business. In this role, reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be dealing with external suppliers, editorial teams, marketing, and advertising departments quoting work and managing multiple projects through to completion. By managing resources effectively, monitoring production schedules and being part of a team, a production controller is an asset to the print production business.
Duties
• Advanced planning and scheduling of magazine titles and ancillary work
• Provide quoting services to internal departments and external stakeholders
• Traffic and title management
• Quality and logistics monitoring
• Customer service and communication
Skills and experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Works as part of a team
• Can take a detailed brief and provide clarity
• Has knowledge and experience with magazine print production (not essential but desired)
We are looking for a person with good customer service skills, who has experience in general office administration and some exposure to production skill is preferable. A willingness to learn and be part of a busy team is a key attribute for the successful candidate.
