At Are Media, you'll be in the office four days a week, with one day to work from home.
About the role
As Consumer Data and Insights Manager, you will play a pivotal role in uncovering insights that empower the business to meet key publisher objectives, fuel commercial growth, and reinforce our position as Australia’s leading authority on women. In this 12-month parental leave contract, with a view to start in February 2026, you’ll oversee audience intelligence across all channels and ensure our Insiders Community – a highly engaged audience panel – continues to thrive.
Duties
- Deliver clear, compelling insights that inform strategic decisions and help achieve publisher priorities
- Provide data-driven recommendations to support commercial revenue and partnership opportunities
- Strengthen Are Media’s thought-leadership position through purposeful investment in research
- Manage and maintain a central knowledge hub for all Are Media audience insights across print and digital
- Oversee the growth, engagement and governance of The Insiders Community panel, ensuring full compliance with privacy regulations
Skills and experience
- You’re a natural storyteller who can turn data into meaningful narratives that inspire action
- Skilled in quantitative and/or qualitative research methodologies
- Highly organised, collaborative and comfortable working with senior stakeholders
- Passionate about understanding audiences, especially women, and how they engage with media
- Bachelor Degree qualification, excellent analytical and presentation skills, experience dealing with senior stakeholders (Exec level)
