About the role

We are looking for a Subscription Campaign Manager to join the team on a 12-month parental leave contract. You would be responsible for the implementation of the subscription marketing strategies for acquisition and retention across Are Media as well as the Magshop commerce digital marketing strategy across all platforms. The role reports directly to the Senior Subscriptions Marketing Manager with a key focus is to drive revenue, manage costs, increase profitability and grow & retain customer base. The role is also responsible for collaborating with cross-functional partners to manage campaign activity, budgets, reporting, analysis, logistics and administration.

Duties

  • Liaise with wider subscription team and rest of business to drive subscriptions sales 
  • Working with third party stakeholders and commercial clients to negotiate strategic alliances and contra deals for promotional activity
  • Execute membership driving initiatives to increase brand retention Research brand composition and opportunities for cross-brand collaboration & promotions
  • Implement, maintain & monitor live campaigns for both acquisition & retention activity, including cross-collaboration with relevant parties in the business across multi-channel platforms, including magazine, online social, insert, flysheet, EDM etc.

Skills and experience

  • Strong marketing experience and mindset, with knowledge of audience development and user-experience.
  • Strong digital marketing skills with knowledge of SEM, SEO, programmatic marketing tools and tactics.
  • Strong analytical ability to draw insights from previous campaigns and apply to future activity.
  • Ensuring direct marketing, CRM and membership focus is fundamental to campaign implementation
